Foundations of CAC Family Advocacy
The Foundations of CAC Family Advocacy, formerly known as The Advocate's Role in the Multidisciplinary Response to Child Abuse, is appropriate for advocates who take part in providing the constellation of services to children served by a children's advocacy center (CAC) across the country. This includes victim advocates employed by the CAC, working at a partnering District Attorney's office, and/or staff of a community-based organization.
Applicants should be advocates with less than five (5) years of experience AND who have not yet completed the 24 hours of training required to meet NCA Standards.

Victim Advocacy Peer Forums
These forums provide a space for Victim Advocates to connect with their peers across the country doing similar work. Each forum starts in a large-group format to review a topic related to victim advocacy, and then participants are placed in Zoom breakout rooms for self-facilitated, small-group discussions and resource sharing. At the end, participants are brought back together in one large group for a Q&A with regional staff.
Please note that only advocates who are involved in providing services to children served by CACs are eligible to participate in these forums. This includes victim advocates employed by a CAC, working at a partnering District Attorney's office, and/or staff of a community-based organization.
